Hi Happy Crocheters! Here comes my new free amigurumi pattern for a crocheted Gunther the Goat. Its been a busy year, I’ve gotten a puppy and she is taking up all my time and has a very bad addiction to yarn so its hard for me to crochet lately.
Here is my Sophie’s Universe Adapted Footstool cover. So if you’ve never been introduced to the Sophie’s Universe Blanket CAL (Crochet Along) it’s a beautiful colourful afghan blanket which uses loads of different crochet techniques to make a mandela like pattern. I’ve always wanted to do it, but as an avid crocheter I have way too many blankets around the house.
Hello fellow Happy Crocheters! Here comes my new free amigurumi pattern for a sad looking black sheep. I’ve been busy crocheting lots of lovely things lately, but today I will tell you about my free Ewe Gene the Sheep crochet pattern being published in a Crochet Magazine called Amigurumi which is a fantastic German crochet magazine focusing solely on Amigurumi Animals!
A good start on the new year is to get your patterns in order! I have been crocheting like mad after a nice little Christmas break were I spent most of my time playing Batman Arkham Knight and the Batman Lego 3 Beyond Gotham games.
So after I had to get some more of my Veros Superheros and Villains crochet dolls done. I have added three to the range!! Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman and Superman!
Merry Christmas Happy Crocheters!!
It’s that time of year again were most of us are quickly trying to get some lovely crochet presents together for family and friends. Well I have a free and quick snowman crochet pattern for you to have. Each snowman shown above took about 3 hours to complete and with the exception of white/cream, black and orange wool you can use whatever colours you like (it’s a bit late now to run out to get some supplies).
Free Crochet Black Sheep Wool Pattern up ahead for you brilliant crocheters! I had lots to crochet and only a week off work to do it in, so I focused my efforts on this little lamb! I was asked by a friend of mine who works at Black Sheep Wool (I love that place! They even have a comfy leather couch that all the guys sit and wait on) to create a Black Sheep Free Crochet Pattern for them.
Over coffee in their onsite coffee shop we decided that I would have to design and crochet a Black Sheep!
Hello Happy Crocheters!! As it’s been a while since I’ve provided a free crochet pattern, thought I’d be good and get one sorted for you all. One of my colleagues at work is having a baby and mentioned that his wife loves pigs, so I decided to crochet a big Piglet and a little Piglet for the mummy to be. One day I’ll have to crochet Pooh Bear and Tiger too! These were really quick to do, I’m not sure whether I’m just getting faster, or the new Happy Crocheting Hooks are improving my crocheting speed, but I did them both in one night! I used yarn specific for babies as I wanted them to be perfect and babies tend to put anything within reach into their mouths so better safe than sorry.
I’m so happy right now. Mr. Crochet-Widow and I have joined our two talents together and created some Happy Crocheting hooks. We had the idea months and months ago but wanted to spend time testing lots of different crochet hooks before we committed to putting the Happy Crocheting name on one. Well the one’s we’ve chosen not only are super colourful and cute, but they’re also really easy to use. I have literally just come back off holiday were I was crocheting 5+ hours a day and even with my arthritis my hands didn’t ache one bit and they come in a 9pcs set, 2mm to 6mm). Oh and I have created a free crochet pattern of the Happy Crocheting bunnies that you get when you purchase a set of hooks from us.
They have an Ergonomic grip – this is silly, but I had never heard of the word ergonomic before we started all this, so for those who don’t know it means ‘designed to minimise physical effort and discomfort’. They really are brilliant to work with, they’re soft yet don’t have any discoloration after lots of use. They come in a little transparent organiser with the cute Happy Crocheting bunnies on (I designed the flyer bit). They also come with a one year’s guarantee, but I am sure you’ll love them.
As a little side project I have been crocheting some baby booties for a friend of a friend. They only took me two hours to do which was brilliant as lately I’ve been working on some quite time consuming projects. Normally for Happy Crocheting I try to write up my own patterns, but this time I used a Crochet Crowd pattern which can be found here: http://thecrochetcrowd.com/sweet-high-tops-video-tutorial/
And they’re here! I am finally able to share my Batman, Harley Quinn, Robin and Joker crochet dolls with all my Happy Crocheting fans.
So if someone in your life loves batman and foes hop over to a ravelry page to download the patterns! I am so happy with the way these crochet dolls have turned out and plan to do more genres of them!
